The lawsuit accuses 90 defendants of actions that have allegedly fueled the opioid crisis.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the named defendants are opioid manufacturers, distributors and big-box pharmacies; however, eight members of the Sackler family, the family who owns the pharmaceutical giant Purdue Pharma, were also individually named.
