Crain’s New York Covers Napoli Shkolnik’s Motion Against McKinsey for Destroying Opioid Evidence

abril 22, 2026

Napoli Shkolnik was featured in Crain's New York Business this week for filing a motion against McKinsey & Company for destroying evidence tied to its role in the opioid epidemic. The firm represents 44 New York towns and counties alleging McKinsey executives deleted and concealed files related to the marketing strategy that drove OxyContin sales to high-volume prescribers across the country.

Because many of the deleted files cannot be recovered, Napoli Shkolnik is asking the court for a default judgment of liability or, at minimum, an instruction that the missing evidence be treated as unfavorable to McKinsey at trial.

If your community was impacted by the opioid epidemic, contact Napoli Shkolnik to discuss your legal options.
